Meet the Instructor

Megan Callahan is thrilled to be teaching at VBTG this fall! Originally from Vero Beach, Megan attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she received a BFA in Drama, studying at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the Experimental Theatre Wing, and New Studio on Broadway.

She worked for years Off-Broadway, starring in The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking. After relocating to Vero Beach from NYC, Megan most recently was seen playing “Lucy” in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and "Wednesday Addams" in The VBTG production of The Addams Family.

Megan has over a decade of experience working in children's and educational theatre.  She founded the VBHS Summerstage program under Dee Rose-Imbro, directing Almost, Maine (Summer 2016), All in the Timing (Summer 2017), and Broadway on a Budget (Summer 2018). She regularly choreographed the VBHS Drama Camp for five consecutive summers and has achieved several "Critics Choice" awards at the Florida State Thespians Festival with her choreography. Most recently, she served as the dance and drama teacher at Creative Arts Academy of St. Lucie.

Megan is committed to fostering a safe theatrical space for students to take risks, find their joy, and build their confidence - on and off the stage!
